Two visits to the same impossible interior. Version 1: green-gold, bioluminescent rings, brass gears embedded in living wood, a workshop-study-stomach. Version 2: amber-brown, autumnal, fainter light, walls closer, a dark hole opening downward in the stump-table. Later in the day, later in the season, later in some process.

Critical Notes

The second version feels like the room is running low on something. The same bubble and loose page have drifted slightly, as though time has passed between sittings.

The Hollow Tree

Larger inside than it should be. Living wood with spiral grain, bioluminescent walls, objects half-embedded. A place where things are kept.
