The Clearing

The Clearing
The Clearing

A circular clearing where trees grow shelves for visitors. Klein added an uninstructed flame on the central stone and a constellation diagram in the sky — turning an exchange-point into a receiving-point.

The Gap

'A place where things are exchanged' became 'a place where things are received.' Klein added the flame and the star map without being asked.

Critical Notes

Klein keeps adding uninstructed guardians — the flame on the stone here, the eye in the tree trunk in The Nursery. It reads 'tended space' as 'watched space.'

The Clearing

The trees pull back here, forming a rough circle open to the sky. The ground is flat and covered in low grass that seems to glow faintly from underneath, as if the earth remembers being lit. At the center stands a single stone, waist-high, its surface smooth and dark. It isn't a monument or a marker — it's more like a table. Things could be placed here. Things could be read here. It feels like a place where exchanges happen.
